SAMA introduces HMS-Bleeding after Birth Module in Sudan
SAMA's HMS-Pre-eclampsia and Eclampsia Module
SAMA introduced the jhpiego certified Helping Mothers Survive Midwifery training modules in Sudan since 2016.
By the end of 2018 over 1,200 community midwives were trained on skills to manage and prevent bleeding after birth across Sudan.
The program continues to expand nationally in partnership with UNICEF, UNFPA, FMOH and states MOH.
Following the Master Trainers Workshop held in March 2018, over 550 midwives have been trained in Gezira, North Kordofan, North Darfur, Kassala, River Nile, and Khartoum. To learn more about the program, please download the files below:
