Sudan Next Gen does not receive direction or financial assistance from Sudan, any national organization or any foreign group. Sudan Next Gen is not a political action committee. It does not rate, endorse or contribute to candidates. Sudan Next Gen works to make a difference. Together, we are building a better tomorrow for the United States and Sudan.
Who Are We
Mission: Sudan Next Gen formulates and promotes human rights policies based on international norms and democratic principles central to the Sudanese Revolution, freedom, peace, justice.
We direct our advocacy efforts towards governments and human rights organizations, pushing them to change or enforce international norms, public policies and practices. We partner with organizations around the world to protect embattled Sudanese activists and to help hold abusers responsible, bringing justice to survivors.
WHAT WE DO
We have built bridges into human rights organizations and communities that have a demonstrated record of fighting for freedom, peace and justice, the pillars of Sudan’s Revolution.
Sudan Next Gen promotes an international conversation about the importance of preserving human rights for peaceful demonstrators in Sudan. We use advocacy to both inform our leaders and the general public about the ongoing human rights abuses. We advocate for all members of Congress to support Sudan’s transition of power to a civilian-led government, foreign aid assistance once a civilian government is established, a cease to violence against peaceful demonstrators and holding government officials accountable for human rights abuses including, rape, murder and torture.
