FOD Day Khartoum Airport

This project consists of scheduling a day to clean the airport yard and runways of small and large objects that can cause damage to aircraft such as screws, plastic parts, and small gravel. An educational program on the importance of this activity will also be offered by experts from the aviation sector initiative as well as Khartoum Airport staff.
In addition to this, FOD Walks will be implemented by creating activities designed to get as many people as possible at a particular site so that they can walk through an area within the airport to retrieve trash, rocks, loose metal objects, or anything else that may be or could become a FOD hazard
