Airline pilot since 1988 and served in Egypt, Turkey, Holland, UK, Canada, Kazakhstan, Maldives and Ethiopia during which time accrued over 17000 hours on MD-80, A300, A320, A330 and B757/767. Besides flying and training Captain roles, I engaged in managerial positions leading to introduction of new types into service, adding new types in the civil registry and basic air accident investigation and scene containment. Currently owner and sole proprietor of Avi-RO, a training and consultancy service domiciled in Toronto, Canada, providing Air Canada advanced qualification training services on the Airbus A320 and A330 since 2016. Ancillary roles during flying career also included crew critical stress debriefing and training matrix development to meet latest guidelines for airspace and regulatory changes.
Graduated secondary schooling in Khartoum and higher education in Italy, US and the UK. Represented Sudan at the United World College in Trieste, Italy under full scholarship from the EU.
