Achievements
Successfully prepared a comprehensive study on the current and potential role of the atomic energy on peaceful developmental projects in different sectors in Sudan and presented the study on a general seminar attended by all SAEC staff, the attendance approved the document to be considered as strategy report for the corporation (SAEC).
Effectively participated and led the efforts of the establishment and empowerment of the Sudanese Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority as an independent national nuclear regulator.
Experience:
- He is the first one to initiate the QC service for computed tomography scanners in Sudan and shared the success with scientific paper presented orally at the International Conference on Radiation Medicine in 2006.
- He is a founding member of the Sudanese Nuclear Society.
- Has remarkable contribution in establishment of the Sudanese Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (SNRRA) where he worked as Nuclear Safety Director up to 2015. Has exerted extensive efforts to enhance the regulatory independence.
- Now he is leading an initiative to promote SAEC and the peaceful atomic energy technologies as effective development tool to play significant role in the construction and development of new Sudan post revolution.
- He used to help and motivate new generations in the field of nuclear science and technology to develop their career and improve knowledge and skills.
