Hashim is currently holding the position of the Minister of State for Urban Development. He previously worked as a Senior Station Architectural Manager in Qatar Rail Company, a BIM Expert in Hochtief Vicon, and a Senior Design Architect in King Faisal Specialist Hospital. In New York City, he worked as a Virtual Design & Construction Manager at SHoP Construction, Skidmore Owings & Merrill, NY, as a Digital Design Specialist working mainly on complex geometry. He has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University, NY and lectured in Pratt Institute of Technology, Manhattan Campus. B.S. Department of Architecture, Faculty of Eng. & Architecture, U. of K. MSE Stevens Institute of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
