Mr. Zein is a licensed Real Estate agent, developer and investor specializing in investment real estate in the Greater Houston Metropolitan. He is the co-founded the Sudanese American Public Affairs Association, Inc. (SAPAA), an independent, non-partisan, non-religious member-driven national non-profit organization focused on serving the interests of Sudanese Americans, empowering communities, and developing future leaders. He led the IT planning function of the Strategy & Planning team in the CIO office, developing three-year IT plans & budgets and analyzing IT costs for the organization. Also, he managed a portfolio of Property and Facility Management IT systems, including planning and implementing the RE Portfolio Management system for Shell (SAP Real estate management) and rolling it globally in the Americas, Europe/Africa, and the Asia Pacific regions. He also held positions of increasing responsibility in developing and supporting Oil and Gas systems as a member of the Engineering, Scientific resource pool in the Shell IT organization, including implementation and support of multiple global SAP systems for the Royal Dutch/Shell Group.
