Managing Partner – 249Startups, a Hub for startups and entrepreneurs in Sudan which provides coaching, mentorship, and access to networks and investments. Ahmed is also the international affairs coordinator of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community, a national youth-driven NGO, formed in 2013, promoting entrepreneurial activity among Sudanese youth. Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Khartoum. Ahmed is a cybersecurity engineer with over five years of experience in technology and start-ups. He is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional director of Startup Grind, a global startup community powered by Google, designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. He was one of ten people honored by the MBC HOPE – Shabab2030 project. A Mandela Washington Fellow powered by Obama & US Dept of State.
