I am an Assistant Professor of pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Khartoum, Sudan.

Currently, I am the head of the Department of Pharmacology.

My research areas including Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology.

With more focus on the area of molecular pharmacology, where I mainly focus on the understanding of molecular mechanisms of drugs and natural compounds on targeting different diseases mainly cancer and neglected tropical infectious diseases.

Additionally, I am working in areas related to the Clinical Pharmacy field in Sudan.

Also, I am very interested in researches and the ways to promote pharmacy education in Sudan, and the implementing of new roles of pharmacists in our health system.
