- Dr Abobakr Shadad MBBS, MRCPI,MSc, MD
Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist. Mid Essex Hospital Trust – UK - Dr Shadad obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland in 2006, Master of Medical Sciences in 2008 and MD in Medicine from the National University of Ireland in 2013. He was trained in general medicine and gastroenterology at the National University Hospital Galway and in St James’s Hospital, Dublin. He also worked as lecturer in Medicine at the National University of Ireland, Galway for 4 years before returning to clinical Gastroenterology to undertake a fellowship in Advance Endoscopy at the University Hospital Southampton NHS foundation Trust and a higher Diploma in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Queen Mary University of London . He is currently a consultant gastroenterologist/Hepatologist at Broomfield hospital Mid Essex Hospital UK.
- His academic interest focus on learning and teaching for undergraduate & postgraduate students and in learning technologies. Dr Shadad is a member of the executive office of the Sudanese and London Association Medical Aid Trust (SALAMAT) and lead of its academic office.
